Set in a privileged location, these pitches offer a unique perspective over the surrounding mountains, with breathtaking views of the ancient ruins of Château d’Artias — a stunning natural and historical setting, perfect for slowing down and reconnecting with what truly matters. Each pitch features its own private bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, as well as an outdoor sink for greater autonomy and peace of mind throughout your stay.
These pitches are located in a pedestrian area. Caravans are accepted provided they arrive with their vehicle, which must then be parked outside the area. Motorhomes are also allowed, on the condition that they remain stationary for the entire duration of the stay. Optional equipment is available, including a refrigerator, a table, and chairs.
Our private sanitary units are handcrafted by a local artisan, with care and attention to detail.

CosyCamp is far more than a cluster of quirky lodges. Since Sophie and Richard founded it in 2013, it has grown into a real 4-star campsite of 90 grassy spots, all laid out inside a leafy botanical garden of 4.5 hectares where no car is allowed. The latest chapter speaks straight to comfort-minded campers who still want proper camping: an en-suite Grand Confort spot, complete with its own washroom and room for a family holiday. So you keep genuine camping, canvas and open sky, yet never share a shower block again. Our camp stands in Chamalières-sur-Loire, some 28 km from Le Puy-en-Velay and around 1.5 hours from Lyon, and it carries the Camping Qualité label for its eco-chic standards.

On our newest Panorama sites, the private washroom is built right onto your 100 m² of grass, custom-made by a local craftsman. Here is what each Grand Confort pitch gives you:
- Your own cabin holds a shower, a toilet and a washbasin, plus an extra sink outside for the dishes.
- Electricity comes included, so you plug in a fridge, a lamp or your devices without hunting for a socket.
- The 100 m² surface sits in the pedestrian Panorama quarter and welcomes up to 6 guests.
- Tents, caravans and trailer-tents all settle in easily, while motorhomes join when parked for the whole holiday.
- An open outlook frames the ruins of Château d’Artias, a scene a standard site rarely offers.
The CosyCamp team’s take: we shaped these washrooms with a local craftsman rather than dropping in off-the-shelf units, because an en-suite space should feel like a small cabin, not a plastic box. - Larger outfits choose one of the roughly 10 Privilège caravan plots of 200 m² inside the pedestrian zone.
- Every car keeps out of the way: you drop your caravan, then leave the vehicle on the outside car park.
